ABOUT YOUR STRENGTH
Your strength doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
At Your Strength Movement, we’re here to help you find yours—at your pace, with full support.
At Your Strength Movement, our mission is to help people—especially those overlooked by traditional fitness spaces—rebuild trust in their bodies, move with confidence, and get stronger in ways that feel safe, supported, and sustainable.
We guide you to discover what strength feels like for you—through movement that honors your history, meets you where you are, and adapts with kindness, patience, and care.
Whether you’re new to exercise, navigating injury, or seeking support in midlife, our focus is progress over pressure—and movement that lasts.
About Katie + Your Strength Movement
Movement that starts with you. Strength that lasts.
I'm Katie Wilson, CPT—movement coach, corrective exercise specialist, and founder of Your Strength Movement. I help people reconnect with their bodies through safe, personalized, and deeply supportive movement coaching.
But I didn’t start here.
I began my career in health care as a dental hygienist—focused on preventative care and one-on-one support. Over time, I realized I wanted more: more connection, more autonomy, and more impact.
So I became a personal trainer through NASM in 2017 and began helping people lose weight, get stronger, and feel better in their bodies. But the more I coached, the more I realized: there’s more to movement than reps and results.
There’s breath. Nervous system response. Alignment. Confidence. Safety.
That’s when I fell in love with the nuance of movement—and committed to learning how to support the whole human.

Let’s Talk about Movement Coaching
What is Movement Coaching?
Movement coaching helps people improve how they move, breathe, and align—not just how they look or how hard they push.
I assess how your body functions, identify movement limitations or imbalances, and create personalized coaching plans that help you move with more strength, balance, and awareness.
Whether you're recovering from injury, starting fresh, or navigating a changing body in midlife—this approach is for you.
How It Aligns with Corrective Exercise
Corrective exercise helps us identify and address imbalances caused by poor posture, past injuries, or long periods of inactivity. It's not about fixing you—it's about understanding what your body needs to function and feel better.
Once those imbalances are supported or resolved, we can gradually transition you into group classes, higher-intensity training, or simply moving more in your daily life—with confidence and ease.
Is Movement Coaching for You?
If you’re wondering whether you need movement coaching, ask yourself:
– Do I have pain or discomfort with everyday movement?
– Do I feel tight, unbalanced, or unstable?
– Have I avoided exercise out of fear of doing it wrong—or making things worse?
– Am I recovering from injury or just starting again?
– Do I want to move better as I age—not just harder?
If you answered yes to any of these, movement coaching can help.
– Women navigating menopause or midlife changes
– Neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, anxiety, sensory needs)
– New movers or those returning after long breaks
– People managing pain, instability, or past injuries
– Adults seeking a holistic, longevity-focused approach to fitness
Who We Work With?
Movement coaching is offered primarily through 1:1 private sessions, where we:
– Begin with a full movement assessment
– Customize a plan based on your goals and current patterns
– Integrate breathing, strength, and mobility work
– Reassess and adapt as you build capacity and confidence
As you progress, many clients move into semi-private sessions or group classes—with the tools and awareness to make movement sustainable.
